Congratulations to JIL Founder and Executive Director Jared Fishman for being named a new member of the Council on Criminal Justice!

Independent and nonpartisan, the Council on Criminal Justice is an invitational membership organization and think tank, serving as a center of gravity and incubator of policy and leadership for the criminal justice field. It advances understanding of the criminal justice policy choices facing the nation and builds consensus for solutions that enhance safety and justice for all.

Membership serves as an acknowledgement of the accomplishments of established leaders and as an honor to which the next generation of criminal justice trailblazers can aspire. It helps develop a strong cohort of people ready and able to manage and lead the field through future challenges and supports the advancement of professionals and emerging leaders.
